Age/Time: 11-14

Tuesday, June 27 to Thursday, June 29

No prior sewing experience needed. 

Ages 11-14 : 9am to noon

Ages 15-17: 1pm to 4pm

 

Ages 11-14 Project:

Students will sew a drawstring backpack. They will learn:

  • How to cut fabric from a pattern

  • How to sew straps

  • How to sew a drawstring casing

 Ages 15-17 Project:

Students will sew an elastic waist skirt with trim detail. They will learn:

  • How to cut fabric from a pattern

  • How to sew an elastic waistband

  • How to hem

Price includes all fabric and materials including thread, trimming, and use of tools, including sewing machines. Students may bring in their own sewing kits, if they have them.  

Students must come in the store and identify the fabric they want to use no later than Sunday June 18th.
