Fixing Mistakes in Knitting

Time: Sunday February 22 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Two-session class)
Skill Level: Beginner (Ages 14+*)

This class is perfect for the knitter that has the hang of knitting, though something still doesn’t seem right. Learn how to fix your knitting projects with frogging your projects completely. We’ll go over common mistakes, easy solutions, and get you on track to strengthening your knitting skills. Make sure to come in with plenty of questions!

What You’ll Learn:  The student(s) will be taught how to fix a variety of knitting mistakes in a project.

What You Need to Bring: The student will need to bring to class a knitted, stockinette square that is approximately 5 inches x 5 inches. IT CANNOT BE BOUND OFF and should be “live on the needles.” It can be knit in any weight yarn, on any size needles.

Skills needed: Students should be familiar with the knit and purl stitches, and at least 1 cast on/off method.

*We will be working at a pace appropriate for older teens and adults. Please be at least 14 years old unless given prior permission by staff.

Interested in a private class?  The cost is $65/hour with a 2 hour minimum.  Private group classes are also available for a group of 4 or more.  Please contact us for more information.
