Knitting: Illusion Knitting

Time: Sunday February 15 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Two-session class)
Skill Level: Beginner (Ages 14+*)

Need a creative way to say “I Love You”? Learn how to Illusion Knit beautiful hearts with this fun pattern! 

What You’ll Learn:  The student(s) will be taught how to knit a hidden heart on fabric that could be a dishcloth or an afghan square or a small pillow.

What You Need to Bring: 2 colors of worsted weight yarn K weight yarn (we recommend Germantown by Kelbourne Woolens or Rios by Malabrigo), Knitting Needles in size 8. You must purchase and have ready the following pattern: Heart Illusion Dishcloth by Laura’s Knits (Free on Ravelry).

Skills needed: Students should be familiar with the knit and purl stitches.

*If you prefer to use this as a dishcloth, you should purchase cotton yarn

*We will be working at a pace appropriate for older teens and adults. Please be at least 14 years old unless given prior permission by staff.

Interested in a private class?  The cost is $65/hour with a 2 hour minimum.  Private group classes are also available for a group of 4 or more.  Please contact us for more information.

• 14–20 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
• Fewer than 14 days before the first class: No refunds.
• Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.
