What You’ll Need to Bring: Printed copy of Melt the ICE Hat pattern by Paul S. Neary
found on Ravelry . Please provide email and/or phone number so Alicia can help you
decide which weight yarn and needles will be used from information provided on the
pattern.

  • Red yarn (200 – 250 yards)
  • Needles (to be determined by the yarn weight)
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Skills Needed: How to Knit, Purl, Cast On, Bind Off
Outcome: Students will learn how to knit a hat in the round. The majority of the work
will be done at home.
